When you think of football season what do you think
of? We're sure a lot of things come to mind; for instance, tailgating, the Superbowl
and cheering for your favorite team from your couch with a bowl full of your
favorite snack.
Well, we know for sure what comes to our minds when we think of football season: GMC.
As you may or may not know, GMC is the official vehicle of the NFL. And as such, 33 2012 GMC Sierra 1500 trucks were brought to Times Square each sporting an NFL team logo and even greeted by various NFL professionals like wide receiver, Amani Toomer.
The trucks were all extended cab models featuring a standard bed and a 5.3-liter Vortec V8 engine. Combined, the trucks are able to accommodate 62,964 lbs of cargo which amounts to 67,162 footballs. They also have a towing capacity to the tune of 320,100 pounds, or the equivalent of 1,067 300-lb linemen.
And no worries if you missed the event, because GMC and the NFL have various collaborations scheduled throughout the remainder of the season. In fact, the duo has launched a campaign known as "Never Say Never," which will offer contestants the chance to vote on their favorite NFL player, have interactions with players though social media outlets, enter for a chance to win NFL tickets (including ones for Super Bowl XLVII) and the opportunity to win any new GMC model they would like.
This is certainly an appealing opportunity for football and GMC enthusiasts alike, and Moss Bros. Buick GMC encourages you to participate. And, if you want a guaranteed chance to sit behind the wheel of a new GMC, we invite you to visit our conveniently located dealership at 12675 Auto Mall Drive Moreno Valley, CA 92555, where we carry new Buick and gently used car models as well.
